Open recall
A manufacturer safety or compliance repair that has not yet been performed on a specific VIN.
Recall outreach is consented, transactional communication and one of the highest-response outbound campaigns a service BDC runs. AI checks the VIN for open recalls on every service call.
Also called: recall notice, safety recall.
