Repair order (RO)
The document that records a service visit: customer, vehicle, requested work, operations performed, parts and labor, and charges.
In BDC terms, an RO is the outcome of a shown service appointment. Dollars per RO on BDC-booked visits is the service BDC's revenue metric.
In practice
The RO is opened when the vehicle arrives, records each operation as its own line with labor time and parts, and is closed when the customer pays. Customer-pay, warranty and internal work are tracked separately. For a BDC, the RO is the proof that a booked appointment became revenue, which is why Alpha Drive matches appointments back to closed ROs in the Command Center.
