Op-code (operation code)
A standardized code in the DMS and scheduler for a specific service operation, with a time estimate and pricing attached.
Assigning the right op-codes when the appointment is booked lets the shop plan capacity and quote accurately. AI schedulers attach op-codes from what the customer describes.
Also called: operation code, opcode.
